Lo sport fa bene (anche) al cervello Ma il nuoto ancora di più? Forse
Nella giornata di Mercoledì 28 Luglio sul portale corriere.it è stato pubblicato un articolo sui benefici dello sport per la nostra salute fisica e mentale, articolo che si concentra in particolare maniera sul Nuoto.
Dall’articolo si evince che: “Il nuoto svolto in maniera regolare migliorerebbe la memoria, la funzione cognitiva, la risposta immunitaria e l’umore. Aiuterebbe anche a riparare i danni causati dallo stress e a creare nuove connessioni neurali nel cervello”.
E ancora: “La risposta alla domanda perché il nuoto sembrerebbe dare migliori risultati rispetto ad altri sport aerobici, è logica: è lo sport dal punto di vista della attivazione muscolare più completo di tutti, perché si utilizzano quasi tutti i muscoli del corpo” risponde il professor Gianfranco Beltrami.
E’ importante però dire che: “La frequenza: se uno va a nuotare una volta ogni 15 giorni, non gli fa niente. Ma conta anche l’intensità: se si fanno quattro bracciate, non basta. Quindi ci vogliono periodi di almeno 20-30 minuti di nuoto continuativo, tre volte alla settimana” come specificato da Beltrami.
